Infant Program

Our infant lessons are based on motor skills and cognitive development skills, and help to develop trust and understanding between your baby and aquatic environments.

Our classes are designed around the developmental stages of your child's learning.

Chick 6 - 12 months

This class is an introductory class based on socialisation, water familiarisation and introduction to submersions. In this class parents will be taken through a range of activities from learning basic holds in the water to introducing your child to holding their breath and eventually submerging.

Chick program

Cygnet 12 - 18 months

This class continues on from the skills in Chick, however as all of our classes are designed around your child's developmental stages the previous class is not a prerequisite. In this class parents and children will be taken through body orientation skills, introduction to floating and introduction to assisted kicking.

Cygnet Program

Mallard 18 months - 2 years

This class continues on from the skills in Cygnet, however as all of our classes are designed around your child's developmental stages the previous class is not a prerequisite. In this class parents and children will complete various activities which are aimed at encouraging increased independence in their body orientation skills, floating and introducing independent kicking.

Mallard Program

Penguin 2 - 2.5 years

This class continues on from the skills in Mallard, however as all of our classes are designed around your child's developmental stages the previous class is not a prerequisite. In this class parents and children will participate in group and independent activities aimed at encouraging independence in floating, kicking and swimming.

Penguin Program

Swan 2.5 - 3 years

This class continues on from the skills in Penguin, however as all of our classes are designed around your child's developmental stages the previous class is not a prerequisite. In this class parents and children will participate in group activities aimed at promoting independence in following instructions, swimming and participating in groups. All skills in this class are preparing your children for the pre-school program where parents will start to be transitioned out of the class.
